Maintaining Active Status as an AHA Instructor:

1. Two classes must be taught each year. Total of four classes over two years are required for renewal.

2. All AHA and/or TC updates must be attended/completed.

3. Instructor may not have any outstanding invoices or non-compliant rosters.

4. Instructor will pay a $25 renewal fee per discipline every two years.

5. Renewal process: Instructor must be monitored while teaching, pay $25 renewal fee, and submit renewal packet PRIOR TO EXPIRATION in order to renew active instructor status. No exceptions. A lapse in active status will result in the instructor having to attend the next instructor class prior to being issued an instructor card.
